PARTS MITSUBISHI LANCER WAGON
The Mitsubishi Lancer Wagon was introduced in 1973. The first generation already had a compact and demanding car. When in 1979 the successive model of Mitsubishi Lancer (box type), the Lancer Wagon, was missing, the disappointment was great among the customers of Mitsubishi. A missed opportunity. The model that followed in 1984 got a station version and this one was much more successful than its 4-door brother. These were recognizable with the roof raised halfway. This success lasted until 1992, and even skipped the third generation Lancer sedan.
In 1992 Mitsubishi introduced the new Lancer Wagon which was again a success. This Model Lancer Wagon also existed longer than its 4 door brother, until 1999 to be exact. In 2000, Mitsubishi Motors developed a new Lancer Wagon that would not come to Europe. Mitsubishi was afraid that the sales of the Mitsubishi Carisma and Space Star, made in Born, the Netherlands, would suffer from this direct competitor. A very brutal version of Evolution is also made with this model. Only in 2003 the next model Lancer Wagon came back to Europe. This one was sold a lot.
In 2009 the sale of the Lancer Wagon was finally stopped. A new model of Mitsubishi Lancer Wagon is still being sold in Asia.
