The Mitsubishi Tredia was a compact sedan produced by Mitsubishi Motors from 1982 to 1990. The name Tredia would have been derived from Mitsubishi's logo, "The Three Diamonds". in English "Three Diamonds" would have been abbreviated and packed together.
The Tredia was produced to sit between the Galant and Lancer models and to enlarge Mitsubishi's line of passenger vehicles. The Tredia was produced together with the Mitsubishi Cordia and these two models share the same platform and a large number of parts
