PARTS MITSUBISHI 3000GT
De Mitsubishi 3000GT was a Gran Turismo of the Japanese car manufacturer Mitsubishi Motors Corporation between 1990 and 2001. To avoid confusion with the Ferrari 250 GTO and the Pontiac GTO, the name Mitsubishi 3000GT was used outside Japan while the car was called Mitsubishi GTO in Japan. The name GTO comes from the Mitsubishi Galant GTO, a 1970 sports coupé.
3000GT
The GTO was developed on the basis of the successful 1989 Mitsubishi HSX-conceptcar. In Canada and the United States was the Dodge Stealth also almost identical to the 3000GT. In the mid 90s a convertible version was also built with a collapsible steel roof - a forerunner in this field - but the 3000 Gt Convertible sold poorly and only 1618 units were manufactured.
