PARTS MITSUBISHI OUTLANDER
Since 2003 the Mitsubishi Outlander has been included in the programme. The first generation Outlander was developed by Mitsubishi in collaboration with Daimler (Mercedes). This model was only available with 2.0 or 2.4 litre petrol engines. The power output ranges from 136 to 201 hp. The basic model was available with two or four-wheel drive, while the 2.0 turbo and 2.4 engine versions had four-wheel drive as standard. The engines are connected to a manual five-speed gearbox or an Automatic Gearbox.
For the second generation, Mitsubishi has expanded its engine range with a 2.0-litre turbo diesel with 140 hp from Volkswagen. Based on the Lancer's suspension, the Outlander has always been remarkably good for an SUV, but the second generation does this even better. By using aluminium for the roof, Mitsubishi has lowered the centre of gravity, which benefits road holding when cornering.
In 2013 the third generation Outlander appeared on stage, again with a choice of at least one petrol and one diesel engine. Both versions are now available with front or four-wheel drive. This time there is also a vending machine on the option list. Also new is a range of electronic safety systems, including Lane Departure Warning, Active Cruise Control and Forward Collision Mitigation (which automatically brakes if the speed increases too quickly in relation to its predecessor).
